Selectively inhibits PDGF receptor auto-phosphorylation (IC₅₀ = 0.3-0.5 µM) and selectively inhibits PDGF dependent DNA synthesis. Potent inhibitor of human and porcine smooth muscle cell (SMC) proliferation in vitro and of rat SMC proliferation in vivo.
