ZO1 Rabbit monoclonal Antibody | BS9802M | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat

Application: ICC IHC

Application Range: ICC: 1:200 IHC: 1:200

Background: Tight junction protein ZO-1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TJP1 gene. This gene encodes a protein located on a cytoplasmic membrane surface of intercellular tight junctions. The N-terminal may be involved in transducing a signal required for tight junction assembly, while the C-terminal may have specific properties of tight junctions. The alpha domain might be involved in stabilizing junctions. ZO1 plays a role in the regulation of cell migration by targeting CDC42BPB to the leading edge of migrating cells.

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: This Antibody detects endogenous levels of ZO1 and does not cross-react with related proteins.

Molecular Weight: ~ 194 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Alternative Names: Tight junction protein ZO-1; Tight junction protein 1; Zona occludens protein 1; Zonula occludens protein 1; TJP1; ZO1

Immunogen: This Antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide (KLH-coupled) corresponding to ZO1.
